If you've heard of Higher Ground and if you liked the show you may like this story. It's like a Christian version.

This is a story/ script I've been working on. About deeply troubled teens who are sent to a rehab-camp. They make friends and with the help of the councilors learn to break their destructive habits, and overcome their personal struggles.

I just had a lot of fun writing it. And will be inspired to keep writing if people tell me they want me to write more. leave comments positive or negative. God is good =D


Here's a sample:



Brian: (Thought to himself) You said I had a choice!

Rick: you do have a choice Brian

Brian: Then, then why are you always bugging me. So what I'm not "saved" ... just get off my back okay! (Rushed out and slammed, the door behind him)

Rick: (looked down then at the door. Worried he rubbed the side of his face with his right had and sighed)





Mean while...

Aubree (aka Bree): (Wearing her brand new outfit hoped that Brian might notice as he zoomed passed. He paid no attention. The rage in his face surprised her) What's going on here?

Sam: What do you mean? (Taking slight interest)

Aubree: Well all this ... (looked around just in case a councilor was near by) this place... the whole just take a Jesus pill and everything
will be alright--- It's such a load.

Sam: Well, Bree (she said annoyed) sorry to brake it to you like this but "What's going on" (she made air quotes, she went on sounding as if she was telling to a little kid a bed time story) is that out our parents and everybody else gave up on us. So we're here
for as long as our sentence. So we have to smile and wave like good little children until we can finally get the heck out of here, so shut up and get over it. (She rolled her eyes, got up from her seat and walked away)

Aubree: (Narrowed her eyes at Sam as she watched her leave) ........
